Lactobacillus strains are good bacteria that produce lactic acid in the vagina (this is the acid that keeps our pH level between 3.5 - 4.5 and prevents bad bacteria from overgrowing!). Lactobacillus is the most studied strain of bacteria and has shown time after time its safety and effectiveness in fighting BV. One study showed that taking Lactobacillus on a daily basis cured BV in 87.5% of women after only 4 weeks!
Bifidobacterium is another type of extremely beneficial & friendly bacteria. Other than helping relieve symptoms of IBS, fight obesity, and improve brain health, Bifidobacterium has also been found to fight infection causing bacteria such as E. Coli which is linked to UTIs. It truly works!
4 months after having my second son is when my FIRST round of BV began, it lasted for 3 months. (maybe even longer) I was constantly in the doctors office getting prescriptions that never worked. They could never give me new advice other than “sometimes some women are more prone to recurrent BV.” After I FINALLY got rid of a it, a year passed and it came back…on month, two months, three months and I was devastated, this time I started researching on my own. I ran across Vluxe and thought I’d give it a shot ( I didn’t think it would be any different than anything else I tried.) Miracle in a bottle
I have been struggling with BV for over 10 years, have been to multiple doctors and have tried everything possible! I had finally resigned myself to dealing with this for the rest of my life but was still keeping my eyes open just in case something new developed. This is when I came upon V-Luxe and read the story of its founder. I realized right away that her story was the same as mine and so decided to give it a try....can't hurt. I followed their advise and started out on the 15 Billion CFU tabs which helped my symptoms but did not completely get rid of it. I then started taking the 50 Billion CFU tabs and noticed that the symptoms improved but did not completely go away. I decided then to go to the doctor to get a jump start and was prescribed antibiotics (as was expected). I knew the antibiotics would kill both the good AND bad bacteria but figured since I already had the probiotics in my system, taking the antibiotics would give me a clean slate too work with. Continued to take the probiotics along with the antibiotics until they were finished but continued with the probiotics. I have been using them consistently for over 8 months now and have been BV FREE!!!! I am still in disbelief that I actually found something that works!
