The main difference is the potency of each formula. The 50 Billion CFU contains a larger amount of good bacteria. If you are suffering from chronic BV, yeast infections, or UTIs (chronic means 2 or more infections within 6 months), we absolutely recommend you take the 50 Billion CFU probiotics for a higher potency formula.
If you do not have chronic infections (less than 2 infections in a 6 months period), you can take the 15 Billion CFU probiotics.

Our best advice is for you to not stress out right now about having to take the probiotics forever. We do recommend taking the probiotics consistently for at least 4-6 months to replenish & build the good bacteria colony in your body (if you've taken antibiotics in the past, you'll definitely need to rebuild your good bacteria count to prevent future vaginal infections!).
